Lifting garage doors, stages of installation work

The gate manufacturing process consists of the following stages:

  1. Preparing the opening for the system. Vertical supports are inserted to a depth of 2 cm and secured with anchor bolts. A beam with a size of 120*80 mm is used as supports.
  2. The beam is being assembled. The horizontal beam is mounted parallel to the crossbar in the opening.
  3. To make the frame, two guide rails are made. The elements are made of 4 metal corners. Rollers will move along the rails and are fixed to the sash.
  4. Then the frame of the canvas is made. Profiles of metal corners are welded to each other and then attached to the finished box.
  5. Rollers are fixed at the corners in the upper part of the frame. For this, fasteners and a drill are used.
  6. The frame is covered with material with anti-corrosion properties. Self-tapping screws are used for the job.
  7. Vertical beams are equipped with movable brackets.
  8. At the bottom of the beams, the ends of the channels are attached to the spring.
  9. The finished canvas is hung on the frame.

To protect the garage from burglary, the gates are additionally equipped with latches and locks. Standard safety measures include locking devices. On modern structures, automation is installed, which is equipped with a protective system. Anti-jacking alarms are popular. Preparation for construction


Preparatory work begins with choosing a suitable design. You will need project development and design drawings. Hinges are a very important element of the design of swing gates; the reliability of the gate and its long-term operation largely depend on them. Checking work
