Marble is back in fashion again, conquering the world of interior design with its unique texture, variety of shades, formats and forms of application in the home. The use of marble in the form of individual elements of cabinet furniture, as well as in the design of table lamps and floor lamps, decorative items and accessories has recently become especially popular.
Designers love to use marble because it looks stylish, dignified and expensive in the interior. Because it fits organically into modern and minimalist design projects, as well as into interiors in the Art Deco, Neoclassical, and Baroque styles.

How to choose marble
Choosing a marble coating based only on its external characteristics will be a big mistake.
There are more important criteria that require close attention. First of all, you should proceed from the surface for which marble is intended. If you plan to lay it on the floor, then the thickness should be appropriate - at least 2 cm, because the material will have to endure more than one grinding, plus natural abrasion. For walls, you can choose thinner marble tiles.
Marble for utility/hygienic and living rooms differs in density characteristics.
For dry rooms - living room, bedroom, etc., you can choose a coarse-grained, loose variety. But it is not suitable for a bathroom, shower room or corridor, since constant humidity will have a destructive effect on it. Accordingly, you need to choose a fine-grained one.
